With my semester in Florence just a couple months away I am starting to plan what to bring. It's going to be tough especially since I am only allowed one suitcase! My wonderful boyfriend has warned me that some of his girl friends mentioned how hard it is to walk on the cobble stone streets in heels. (Rough life...right?) I guess that means that my heels will be left behind and I'll have to find some boots that are that are ready to conquer the cobble stone. Here are a few of my favorite styles that can be worn for all different kinds of excursions, day or night.
Wedge Bootie: I love the wedge bootie because they can class up any look and are quite comfortable. They also give a shortie like me the extra height I need without having to worry about a heel getting suck in the cobble stone cracks.
Riding Boot: The riding boot is a classic. They are great for daytime travels and you can easily wear socks underneath for warmth. Although they are a little harder to carry into the night they are great to go for dinner and you can still dress them up by pairing them with black stockings and a skirt or dress.
Ankle Bootie: The ankle bootie is a trend I am dying to try. I love how they look with jeans and are also so cute with a sundress when the weather warms up. I will definitely be investing a pair of these to accompany me on my trip to Europe.
